What this site is
Rust Field Guide is an English-first reference for Rust on PC and Steam. It is an independent fan-made guide project, not an official wiki and not a guide to Rust Console Edition.
Editorial standard
Every published guide points to identifiable evidence. Steam, Facepunch updates, and the official Facepunch wiki establish product and mechanics facts. Community material can reveal questions, but it is not treated as sole proof.
Reddit posts, discussion threads and comments can reveal where players are stuck, but they do not become an answer merely because someone posted them.
Corrections
Game updates can change behavior. Each guide includes a verification date and platform scope. Content is reviewed and updated regularly; the last verified date is shown on each page.
